Epidemiologist 1 Details
- Hybrid schedule — primarily remote with monthly in-office attendance in Nashville, TN
- Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm CST
- 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week
- 12-month contract, renewable
Epidemiologist 1 Duties
- Build and maintain data collection systems in REDCap to support the CHANT care coordination program
- Prepare routine reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) for internal and external partners
- Implement SAS code changes and REDCap project updates as program needs evolve
- Provide technical assistance to non-technical staff on REDCap and related systems
- Develop data outputs and visualizations for the CHANT program
- Fulfill ad-hoc data and analysis requests from leadership and stakeholders
- Translate programmatic requirements into appropriate data collection design
Epidemiologist 1 Qualifications
- Master’s degree in epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, statistics, or health information — OR master’s in health science, biomedical science, or environmental science plus 2 years of relevant experience
- Extensive REDCap knowledge and hands-on build experience required
- Proficiency in SAS or comparable statistical software
- Must be a current Tennessee resident or willing to relocate prior to start
- Experience with public health data (vital records, health surveys) preferred
