We’re looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client’s medical facility!

Pharm Tech Details
Full-Time Schedules

Some weekends may be required

8 or 12-hour shifts available depending on the facility

Contract Position (flexibility with shift availability is a plus)

Pharm Tech Duties
Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with prescriptions from authorized healthcare providers.

Ensure accurate labeling, packaging, and storage of medications.

Manage medication inventory, including ordering, receiving, and restocking supplies as needed.

Maintain accurate and confidential patient medication records.

Document medication administration and any changes in patient medication profiles.

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding medication records and dispensing practices.

Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures, including standard protocols for medication handling and distribution.

Follow infection control practices and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Report any discrepancies, incidents, or adverse drug reactions to the appropriate authorities.

Provide medication counseling and education to patients as directed by healthcare providers.

Address patient queries related to medications, under the supervision of licensed pharmacists or medical staff.

Work closely with the clinic’s medical and administrative staff to ensure effective medication management and community patient care.

Assist pharmacists in conducting medication reviews and audits as required.

Support other healthcare professionals in providing comprehensive care to patients.

Respond to medication-related emergencies promptly and efficiently.

Participate in emergency preparedness drills and training specific to the outpatient/clinic environment.

Pharm Tech Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited educational institution.

Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician by the State in which the position is located (License MUST be in good standing).

1+ year of relevant Pharmacy Technician experience.
