RN – Addiction Treatment & Recovery Center

We’re looking for compassionate caregivers to become valued members of the recovery and healthcare team at our client’s facility!

RN Details

• Per Diem

• Some weekends may be required

• 8 hour shifts 

• Contract Position (flexible shift availability is a plus)

RN Duties

• Conducting intake health screenings, nursing assessments, and baseline physical examinations upon admission

• Monitoring, assessing, and managing medical detoxification protocols (e.g., CIWA, COWS scores)

• Administering prescribed medications, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) such as Suboxone, Vivitrol, or Methadone, and documenting via MAR

• Assessing mental health needs and supporting patients through dual-diagnosis, behavioral health, and psychiatric interventions

• Responding quickly to medical emergencies, acute withdrawal complications, and crisis interventions (including overdose reversal protocols)

• Providing patient education on recovery wellness, harm reduction, relapse prevention, and chronic health management

• Performing general nursing duties such as vital sign monitoring, venipuncture, IV hydration therapy, and diabetic care

RN Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational institution

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State in which the position is located (must be active and in good standing)

• 1+ year of relevant Registered Nurse (RN) experience (experience in behavioral health, psychiatric care, detox, or substance use disorder treatment is a plus)

• Current BLS/CPR certification
