Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Job Duties:

Counselor shall provide substance abuse and mental health services for approximately sixty four juveniles at the detention center.

40 hours per week, during RAISE program 11:30am to 07:30pm during the school year, with summer hours of operation being from 08:30am-04:30pm.

Services to be provided in Ocean County.

Provide individual and group counseling sessions with identified youth.

Provide family sessions with identified youth.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Licensed Clinical Social Worker and/or Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor

The expectation is that the Substance Abuse/Mental Health Counselor will be licensed in at least one area, but also certified in the other.

On year of full-time experience providing hands-on health care

Full command, verbal and written, of the English language

Current Health Certificate (if applicable)

Current BLS card

Successful completion of screening test for the clinical specialty area(s) with a score of 80% or greater

Cell Staff background screening

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

May be exposed to blood-borne pathogens, chemotherapeutic and toxic chemicals
