RN Details

• Per Diem Schedules

• 7 hour shifts available depending on the facility

• Contract Position

RN Duties

• Perform health assessments on students to identify any existing health issues or concerns.

• Monitor and track students’ health status, including chronic conditions, allergies, and medication management.

• Educate students, staff, and families on topics such as nutrition, hygiene, sexual health, and disease prevention using accessible materials and methods.

• Administer medications to students as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate dosage and timing.

• Maintain medication records and collaborate with parents/guardians and healthcare providers to update medication plans as needed.

• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide immediate care to students in crisis situations.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers, including physicians, therapists, and specialists, to coordinate medical care for students.

• Facilitate communication between students, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

• Monitor students’ health status on an ongoing basis and document relevant information in electronic health records (EHR) or other designated systems.

• Maintain confidentiality of student health information and adhere to HIPAA regulations and school policies.

RN Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational institution

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State in which the position is located. The license MUST be in good standing

• 1+ year of relevant Registered Nurse (RN) experience
