We have a mid shift opening at a state corrections facility in Juneau — a complex, multi-population environment where no two shifts are the same. We’re looking for you to become a valuable part of the team.

Registered Nurse Details

1 opening — mid shift
Mid shift: 12:00 pm to 11:30 pm (11.5-hour shifts)
Every other weekend required
13-week contract with option to extend
Start: ASAP
Location: Juneau, Alaska

Registered Nurse Duties

Work as a member of the correctional medical staff to provide care to patients
Follow direction of Provider to ensure care is provided in a timely manner
Med pass, wound care, triage, and intake assessments
Provide care across a mixed-gender, all-custody-level inmate population

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Alaska RN license (or actively pursuing)
Current BLS (American Heart Association)
Minimum 1 year of experience working as an RN
Prior corrections experience preferred
Must be able to clear a State of Alaska background check
Covid vaccine not required

Compensation

Local rate: $63.00/hr
Travel package: $31.00/hr + $1,500/week lodging + $300/week meals and incidentals
OT paid at 1.5x after 8 hours per shift
